| The Hickory Hills Well Project serves to provide water production capability in an area where demand has exceeded production. The new well will provide 700 gallons per minute which will balance production, increase efficiency, as well as help to reduce the load on the Aquia Aquifer. | |||||||||
| PLANNING JUSTIFICATION: | |||||||||
| Currently the production wells in the area are running approximately 17 hours per day. This results in system wide pressure loss in times of peak demand as well as use exceeding current Groundwater Appropriation Permits (GAP). | |||||||||
