| PLANNING
JUSTIFICATION: |
|
|
| SCADA allows for remote
monitoring and control of water and wastewater pumping station functions.
SCADA has proven to be an invaluable tool during normal operations and severe
weather conditions. SCADA provides 24/7 remote control and diagnostic
capability. It has significantly reduced operating costsby enabling manual
station visits and system checks by MetCom personnel to be reduced from 7
days per week to twice per week. |
