Meter Technician - Full Time
Overview:
The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission has an immediate opening for a
Full-time temporary Meter Technician.
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for assisting the Meter Technician with
reading and repairing meters. This is a temporary position expected to last
approximately 1 year.
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic mechanic skills, experienced with hand tools, able to handle physical
labor such as climbing ladders and handling heavy tools, equipment, or materials
30 to 60 pounds or more, able to work in a confined work space, and able to
follow instructions. Must possess a valid Maryland Class C Driver’s license and
have a driving record suitable for insurability on MetCom’s Auto Insurance
Policy.
Salary:
$15.50/hr (no benefits included).
