ADDENDUM NO. 3

 

October 27, 2005

 

 

TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:

 

Please note the following changes, additions, and information presented herein in connection with the above referenced project and is governed accordingly.  The prospective bidder shall acknowledge on the Addendum Certification Form the receipt of Addendum No. 3.  This Addendum is hereby made a part of the Contract Documents on which the Contract will be based and is issued to modify, explain and or correct the original Contract Documents. Addendum No. 3 contains the following:

 

I.        Modifications to the Contract Specifications

 

• Section 100, Invitation for Bids, DELETE: “Sealed bids in duplicate, addressed to Lee Lee Raley, CPPB, Purchasing Agent, St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, and marked "SEALED BID FOR PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY WELLS" will be received at the office of the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, 43990 Commerce Avenue, Hollywood, Maryland 20636, until 4:00 PM local time on October 28, 2005 and then and there the bids will be publicly opened and read.

• REPLACE WITH: “Sealed bids in duplicate, addressed to Lee Lee Raley, CPPB, Purchasing Agent, St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, and marked "SEALED BID FOR PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY WELLS" will be received at the office of the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, 43990 Commerce Avenue, Hollywood, Maryland 20636, until 2:00 PM local time on December 21, 2005 and then and there the bids will be publicly opened and read.”

• Section 100, Invitation for Bids, ADD: “A second Pre-bid conference will be held on November 15, 2005 at 9:30 AM local time at the main office of the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, to answer any further questions concerning the contract documents and to visit the well sites.  Attendance at either meeting will meet the requirements for submitting bids.”
