7/31/06 - IMPORTANT: Breton Bay Water System Customers

The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission is requesting customers on the Breton Bay Water System to take voluntary water conservation measures, such as limiting outdoor watering activities, over the next few days. The water system serving the Breton Bay community is experiencing mechanical difficulties with the main well pump. These mechanical problems, coupled with the extremely hot and dry weather may cause a temporary reduction in water pressure. Customers are asked to call our Water Division at (301) 373-5305 for further information.
