If you are having trouble uploading your
resume, consider the following:
MetCom allows the uploading or, transfer,
of resume files meeting the following criteria;
1. Resume files may be saved in one
of the following popular formats:
•
MS Word ".doc"
(Preferred Format 1)
•
Adobe ".pdf"
(Preferred Format 2)
•
Plain Text
•
Graphic
(GIF, JPG, BMP, ETC)
•
Other Word Processor File
Files should be uploaded without "Zipping" or
other compression techniques. If you must use another format, please
indicate on the "Comments" section of the application form and provide
any special instructions we may need to read/print the file.
2. Files MUST be free of Virus,
Worms, Trojans, etc. Any file uploaded which is found to contain
malicious content or code will be INSTANTLY deleted upon arriving at our
servers. |
3. Files must not be larger then 10 megs. If your
resume includes graphics or other imbedded code that pushes it's size
past 10 megs, please break it into two parts and upload each separately.
4. Is the system up? The file upload system
resides on a different network and server than the Web Site. It is
possible that the Web Site is up while the file server is down. If you
get an error after clicking "Next Step" on the form, this is likely the
case.
