MetCom maintains this Web Site and all content within it. We take great care with our customer information and will safeguard personal data to the best of our abilities. This policy is updated frequently. 

Privacy Statement

Information you supply to us over the Internet, excluding financial or account information, may be stored on our servers but will not leave our facility without your permission. We do not sell mailing lists, we do not share customer databases, we do not give out any information on our customers.

All Credit Card information and transactions are handled by a secure, third party server. No Credit Card or other online payment information that could expose customer financial data is handled by or, stored on, MetCom's web servers.

MetCom is dedicated to preserving the right of an individual to privacy, both on line and off.

We will do everything in our power to protect and defend that right for our customers. Our customers can always expect a high level of integrity from the company and it's employees.
 
Reliability, honesty, and integrity are our three most important ideals as we go about doing business with the public.

MetCom will not make customer information available to the public in the normal course of business. Customer information is considered private and will not be released unless we are directed by the customer or, other authorities, to do so.
 
The web server on which MetCom's site resides does not record information about visitors other than the IP address and type of browser the visitor is using. We do not query visiting systems for information above or beyond that listed. We do NOT store Credit Card information nor does it pass through our server.
 
IP addresses and browser types are recorded in the server's log files for the technical staff to use should troubleshooting become necessary. The only exception to this policy is information recorded by on line forms as outlined in section (1b) below.
 
(1a) MetCom takes a very dim view of individuals who wish to take advantage of our on line services for illegal or, fraudulent activities. Any individual who attempts to damage our electronic facilities will be immediately reported to the proper authorities.
 
(1b) We record source addresses and origin of all connections to the Customer Information Form portion of our web site. trace route, date and time and, originating ISP and domain information is stored for all submitted forms. This is done to protect our customers, from attempted, unauthorized alterations of customer data.
