The Shortcut Bar

This site is designed for a minimum screen resolution of 800x600 (1024x768 preferred) and will not display properly at lower resolutions. This site is compatible with all Browsers but, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) or newer is preferred.

There are basically two ways to navigate within our site, by the Navigation Menu and the Shortcut Bar.

The Navigation Menu

The Navigation Menu is found on the left side of each normal page and looks similar to this:

 General

Note: Some links may change when certain pages are opened or in response to user input. This is normal, and is by design.

  Help
  Email
  Documents

The Navigation Menu will take you to any page on the site. Page titles will become highlighted as you move your mouse pointer over each one.

To go to that page, just click while the choice is highlighted. The small graphic or "bullet" to the left of the page titles will be blue for the current page and orange for all others.

This Shortcut Bar can be found directly above the Navigation Menu on each normal page in the site:

Home PageEmail MetComSearchWeb Site AssistanceHistory and Facts   Hold mouse over for a "Tip Box".

Embedded Links

Throughout the site you will see "Links" within paragraphs of text and as standalone lists. As with the Navigation Bar, moving the Mouse Pointer will cause the Link to become highlighted.

Some links will be preceded by a blue or orange Bullet. Blue means the link is on this site and orange means it is elsewhere on the Web. The only exception to this is the Navigation Bar where even orange links are within this site. Bullets ( ) change color to indicate the active page.
